This website is published by Commercient LLC ("Commercient") to describe the dlake command-line interface and the Commercient Data Lake \ Data Hub platform. It is informational. The documentation pages mirror the product help and release notes published in the public dlake-cli repository; the live guides inside your tenant's console and the dlake guide commands are the authoritative, current versions for your tenant.

The dlake binary license

The dlake binaries distributed through GitHub and npm are proprietary software of Commercient, free to download, install and use with a valid Commercient Data Lake \ Data Hub subscription or evaluation agreement. The full text, as published in the repository (LICENSE.txt), is reproduced here.

The dlake command-line binaries distributed with this repository and via the
@commercient/dlake npm package (the "Software") are proprietary software of
Commercient, LLC.

Permission is granted to download, install, and use the Software solely to
access and operate Commercient Data Lake \ Data Hub services under a valid
Commercient subscription or evaluation agreement.

You may NOT, except to the extent permitted by applicable law:
 1. reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
 2. redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the Software or modified copies
    of it (installing via the official npm package or download mirror is
    permitted, including inside CI systems and container images);
 3. remove or alter proprietary notices in the Software.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
